Our Parent Support Group Meetings are open to any one aged 12 or older.  If you are not a member of our group, you may still  feel free to attend a meeting that may be of interest to you.

Please note that our liability insurance prohibits children under 12 except for nursing babies.

Our Parent support group meetings

• provides an opportunity to ask questions
• provides encouragement both in the formal part of the meeting and through casual interaction with others
• provides fellowship with others who understand your passion for homeschooling
• provides fellowship with those who can relate to your frustrations or joys
• provide an opportunity to borrow books from our extensive library

We are so blessed with the abundance of available material to use for homeschooling, that it can be difficult to know what material to choose.  Everything looks great. One of the best ways to find out about a material is to hear a first hand experience from someone who has used it. We will be featuring several less well known materials. There will also be a time to browse these materials and others that have been brought for you to look at.

Apr 16, 2011   Homeschool Q & A

Our April meeting will be an informal night,  designed to answer questions about homeschooling. Questions will be open to any topic about homeschooling, whether it be questions about  getting started,  how to handle a certain  problem,  a question about material,  a question about motivation, or anything that you might have a question about.  We will break into two groups -- one designed for the new homeschooler, and one for the experienced homeschooler.  If you don’t know everything about homeschooling,  come ask your questions.  If you know everything there is to know, come and answer questions.
